Moved to Granbury, TX 8/23
Immediately after college I was invited to become a member of the U.S. Army. Transferred into the Air National Guard, then went back into the Air Force to fly. My first jet instructor was John Nichols. I flew F-100's, KC-97's, and C-130's. Worked at Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas as sales manager and pilot for the owner. I then went to fly for Southwest Airlines for 25 years. We've moved 21 times in 27 years (I know there's a Utopia somewhere!!). I have a beautiful wife, Judy, 4 children and 9 grandchildren between us. Golf is my primary hobby and love family, boating and traveling in motor coach. Still like to set my hair on fire and act well beneath my age. I did give up the motorcycles at 66.
School Story

During the morning PA Mr. McBrayer announced 4 names, including mine, who would no longer have 6th period athletics for practice on the golf team. Seems Stoney Cayce had witnessed the four emerging from an "adult" beverage store the previous day when they were supposed to be at practice.

Sara and Family: Bill was one of the finest men I've had the pleasure of knowing. From childhood days at Park Cities, where I was a member along with Bill for over 40 years, to high school, and to luncheons with old friends Bill was an inspiration to all. I am so sorry for his passing and the loss, but grateful in the knowledge he has a special place by our Lord.
